Oracle Fire is a unique  Mermade blend.  It is a new version of “Dream Snake, Oracular incense” that we have been creating for over 20 years...

An incense that speaks...

(We recommend that it be burned on charcoal  and NOT an Electric Heater)

This is a mystical blend that can be used for Divination, libanomancy, speaking to the Spirit world, or just to celebrate the season.  It is the perfect incense for Samhain and All Hallows when we commune with our Ancestors. This type of incense also is traditionally used to drive away negative energies.

 It is a self-igniting incense , but we have discovered that the effects are far more dramatic when placed directly on a lit charcoal!

It contains traditional psychoactive plant materials, precious Woods and resins, and unusual aromatics. 

It should be used carefully and consciously in a sacred manner. This incense is created to not only release a lovely fragrance but also to create a magickal environment.  It has unusual and entertaining incense qualities with high herbal content. 

When using this blend be conscious of performing a ritual. It is not meant to just perfume the air, but to create a magickal space. Take your time and enjoy the ritual of incense. We recommend that you burn it outside in the Moonlight, or a well-ventilated area. 

Oracle Fire has a “Salamander”* elemental, a self-igniting ingredient ( a natural mineral salt known as "Vesta Powder") added to the natural herbs, woods, and finely powdered resins. This mineral salt along with the Harmala Seeds lets Oracle Fire burn like oracular incense, with hisses, pops, and small flickers of flame. It is Very different from our other blends.

Contains:

- Black Oman  Frankincense 

 - Harmala Seeds (Syrian Rue) traditional oracular seeds of protection, known for the way they "speak" and pop to drive away evil. A very exciting little pyrotechnic display

- Bay Laurel leaves

 - Mysore Sandalwood powder, top-grade

 - Juniper wood powder

- Sal resin  (Shorea robusta) “the deliverer of intoxicating resin” 

- Agarwood powder

- Vesta Powder

- Other herbs of enchantment

This price is for enough Incense for about 10 uses, it comes in a glass vial sealed with Beeswax

To Burn:

- Light a disk of Charcoal in a heat-proof censer or bowl

- Place a small spoonful (about a teaspoon)

 - Wait a few moments and it will then begin to smolder and smoke with small crackles, pops, and licks of flame. This is the Salamander* at work!

- If it begins to flame, just gently blow it out and the incense will continue to “Speak” until it is burned completely.

- It is a good idea to have a small bowl to place over the lit incense mound in case you want to extinguish it before it has burned completely.

- Use this incense in a sacred way...That is how it is prepared.

*A Salamander is an Elemental Spirit of Fire. Other elementals are Undines of Water, Gnomes of Earth, and Sylphs of Air. They look just like normal Fire Salamanders (black with yellow markings) but they leave behind small trails of fire when they zip around, or can be seen as bright glowing orbs of fire. The Fire Salamander is the spiritual and elemental embodiment of Fire. It can create, put out, and is resistant to fire.
